Fixed term until April 2014 Full time 37.5 hours per week Based across Kent Ref: 121 KCA Mental Health Services are an Accredited Qualified Provider with over 20 years experience of delivering primary care psychological therapy services to the population of Kent and Medway. We are the largest employer of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners in the South East and are currently expanding our services in Kent and Medway, and have the following training opportunities for High Intensity and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner roles. High Intensity Therapists are trained to deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to patients experiencing moderate to moderately severe symptoms of anxiety and depression. Your role will involve two days of study based at Christ Church University (Salomons Campus) and the remaining three days within the service delivering interventions to the local communities. This course requires you to study at postgraduate level and you should have a core profession in mental health or social care, or meet the Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes competences expressed by BABCP and national Improving Access to Psychological Therapies team.
