||The Brandon Centre is a charitable organisation that provides psychotherapy and contraception and sexual health services for young people aged 12 to 21 years.
An opportunity has arisen to recruit a therapist to lead on the development and implementation of a new service, which aims to provide a therapeutic intervention to young people aged 13 to 25 years who are at risk of, or already experiencing, the loss of their child(ren) through adoption or special guardianship. The post would be based at the Brandon Centre but a good deal of the work would be delivered in an outreach capacity or at appropriate satellite venues throughout the borough.
The successful candidate will have a qualification either as a registered nurse, registered social worker, clinical or counselling psychologist, child and adolescent psychotherapist or systemic psychotherapist and at least two years’ experience of working in the role of a mental health clinician with adolescents/young adults and families.
