| Description: | Location: East London Full Time ( 35 Hours ) The Tower Project is a community based voluntary sector organisation that provides a range of services to children and adults with disabilities who live within Tower Hamlets and the City of London. The Tower Project provides a number of services for children and adults with Autism and this newly developed post will be based within the day service at the Cedar Centre, Isle of Dogs, London, E14. The post holder will support the development of the new service and actively recruit an assistant and an administration officer and contribute to the setting up of the service. The Psychologist will provide psychology services to a group of approximately 20 young people who have autism /associated learning disabilities and mental health needs. The psychologist will actively plan and develop programmes to support the work of the service with specific focus to challenging behaviour and eating disorders. It is expected that the prospective postholder would have substantive experience with this client group and fully understands the community the service is based within. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who wishes to plan and develop a new service with growing organisation.
