A Clinical Psychologist is required to join the NES Psychology Directorate to support the Psychology of Parenting workstream. This is a multi-professional educational development funded by the SGHD through The Early Years Change Fund in Scotland.
You will assist the Programme Director (Psychology of Parenting) in supporting the implementation of evidence-based parenting programmes (Incredible Years and Triple P) for families with young children who have elevated levels of behaviour problems throughout Scotland.
This role will include contributing to development of implementation plans in local areas, commissioning and delivery of training, overseeing quality and fidelity of training delivery as well as consultation/management of the quality of the psychological aspects of the programmes
You will be a qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and have substantial postgraduate experience with considerable experience in the child and family specialty. Experience of delivering training and developing training materials will be essential, along with experience of managing project/planning deadlines. In particular you should have experience and understanding of the implementation of evidence based parenting programmes. You will be able to demonstrate flexibility, high-level communication skills and a commitment to engagement in partnership working with a range of stakeholders.
This post will be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh and regular travel throughout Scotland may be required due to the nature of the post.
