| Description: | Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with bereaved children and their families in a ground-breaking organisation We are currently seeking 4 SENIOR PRACTITIONERS: (Two roles will be based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire Two roles based in Horsham, West Sussex) Winston's Wish is an outstanding and well-established national charity based in Gloucestershire and West Sussex providing support to children who have been bereaved. We have a strong belief in preventative, community based services that promote resilience in young people. We are looking to recruit to the following roles: Senior Practitioner for the Gloucestershire Locality Team Senior Practitioner for the National Services Team – working with children and their families who have been bereaved through murder/manslaughter, suicide or military personnel Two Senior Practitioners to join the West Sussex Locality Team You will have a clinical/therapeutic qualification ideally as a psychologist, social worker, psychotherapist or counsellor. Previous experience of child bereavement is desirable; however we are more interested in relevant professional experience in, and a commitment to, working with children and families. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, especially in communicating with children. Salary will depend on experience, c£28k.
