| Description: | Part-time 30 hours per week The Eating Disorders Service is seeking a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join their team on a part-time basis. The Eating Disorders Service at Royal Cornhill Hospital provides out-patient care for patients with Eating Disorders in Grampian Region, Orkney and Shetland. As the postholder, you will provide and ensure the systematic provision of a high quality clinical psychology service as part of a multidisciplinary team. This will include providing strong clinical leadership for other therapists within the service which include nurse therapists, dietitian and principal psychologist. You will be expected to take a major role in service development and the application of the evidence base in this speciality. You will also be encouraged to develop innovative research projects. You will manage one junior Psychologist within the service and will have links with Psychologists within other services including the Eating Disorders in-patient ward (the Eden Unit) and Adult Mental Health. You will also be expected to represent the service and offer expert advice on local and national committees concerned with Eating Disorders and help influence the development of services both locally and nationally.
