| Description: | 37.5 hours per week (full time and part-time considered) Fixed term until 31 March 2013 Based between Medway, Sittingbourne and Ashford Ref: 909 KCA (UK) Mental Health Services provides a wide range of high quality, innovative primary care services across Kent, Surrey and Havering. We require qualified and experienced PWPs to work in a senior capacity within our Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) low intensity teams across Medway, Sittingbourne and Ashford. You need to have trained in the provision of case management and clinical skills supervision or be eligible and able to attend supervision training. You will offer CBT interventions to adults experiencing mild mental health issues, as well as offering clinical skills and case management supervision. You should have a clear understanding of CBT approaches and techniques, low intensity/high volume working, and knowledge of current NICE and IAPT guidance. Some evening and weekend work may also be required. We also have a range of volunteer roles available across all PTP services. Volunteers support our work as part of their social activities and many take up paid positions within our organisation. We also welcome student placements of substantial duration.
