Jigsaw CABAS® School is an independent school for pupils aged 4-19 with Autism Spectrum Disorders and teaching is based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Teaching Staff £15,349 per annum (variable if QTS), plus bonus scheme related to study programme, 42 weeks across 3 terms We need passionate individuals to expand our team of dedicated teaching staff and would welcome applications from individuals with an interest in educating children with the communication difficulties and behavioural patterns associated with autism. We seek non-qualified teachers, teaching assistants and HLTAs looking to further their career in a specialist setting. We also welcome applications from psychology graduates and qualified teachers. CABAS® is a verbal behaviour model specific to using ABA in a school setting and staff are supported to study through a set of modules provided by Columbia University (New York) to achieve certification by the CABAS® Board. These posts provide a multitude of professional development opportunities including support to complete a Masters degree.
