| Description: | An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a central role in developing a pioneering psychological intervention for older couples living with dementia. Following a successful innovation grant application, TCCR is advertising for a Project Leader to work with the project’s initiator, to develop and deliver this new approach within Camden. The successful applicant will be part of the clinical and intellectual development of this initiative, contributing to the design and delivery of the intervention and to training for staff in the LTWD approach, as well as to its research and evaluation. The post is two days per week, fixed term for two years, salary range £45 - £52000 pro rata, depending upon qualifications and experience. A recognised qualification in couple psychoanalytic psychotherapy or counselling is desirable. Interested applicants with training in individual psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic psychotherapy, or with a core professional training such as clinical psychology and other relevant experience, will also be considered. An interest in, and clinical experience of, issues of later life, particularly dementia, will also be important.
