||Partnerships in Care are the UK’s leading independent providers of specialist mental health services. Our facilities at Kemple View and The Spinney provide expert care to men and women with mental illnesses and personality disorders.
Based at either The Spinney or Kemple View, but with responsibilities across the NW region of PiC, you’ll contribute to all aspects of work within Psychological Services. You will have an active caseload which will involve assessment, treatment, risk assessment and the delivery of therapeutic interventions. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will assist with the evelopment, delivery, and evaluation of evidence based programmes, staff training and supervision, research and contribute to policy development. You may also take regional responsibility for specific project work. These posts are an opportunity to engage in intensive clinical work with individual or small group settings, and to be part of a team which changes lives for the better.
In addition, the Lead Psychologist will be responsible for the psychological service at The Spinney, in conjunction with the Head of Psychology. This will involve being an active member of the Senior Management Team, and leading the delivery and development of the service.
You will need to have HPC registration and full applied divisional membership of the BPS. Successful candidates will have a demonstrable experience of working with clients with mental disorders and/or working in a forensic setting, you’ll also have experience of supervising other psychologists, leading projects, and, in the
case of the Lead post, have significant managerial experience.
