With 80,000 people working together across the world to achieve common goals, our Global Talent & Assessment team is continually innovating our assessment methodologies to ensure these are valid, fit for purpose and provide good candidate experience. We currently need a highly experienced psychologist who has both sound technical experience and a strong business focus to help drive forward our work, as assessment manager.
Given the scale of BP’s operations, your influence has the potential to span the globe. Primarily, you’ll develop, implement and lead new projects that will progress our assessment agenda with the aim of enhancing the quality of our long-term talent pipeline. This will include helping to set standards for assessment practices and engaging stakeholders to support these. As you focus on our commercial needs, your business acumen will be given credibility by your knowledge of psychological practice. Needless to say, this is a rare opportunity that requires exceptional foresight and a unique perspective of assessment techniques.
Educated to at least Master’s Science level in Occupational/Industrial Psychology or equivalent, you’ll have a significant experience of assessment practices used in recruitment and talent management within large, complex environments. Your substantial project and programme management experience will also be indispensable.
