The establishment of the school signals UEA’s commitment to investment in world-class research and research-led teaching in this discipline. UEA has a thriving BPS-recognised psychology BSc undergraduate programme developed prior to the establishment of the new school. Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader/Professor in Psychology (five posts) - Ref: ATR1095 Chair: A competitive salary package is available for outstanding candidates Senior Lecturer/Reader: £45,486 to £52,706 per annum Lecturer: £38,140 to £44,166 per annum We seek excellent researchers to complement the existing psychology staff in the first phase of a growth strategy for the new school. Up to five new appointments are available across all levels that represent opportunities for international research leaders to impact upon the future shape of psychology at UEA. Applicants will be outstanding researchers (in a REF context), with experience and track records commensurate with stage of career. Applicants in any area will be considered, but those with expertise in cognition, vision and action, differential psychobiology or developmental psychology are particularly encouraged to apply. We also seek applicants who can demonstrate synergies with other schools/faculties, commensurate with the multidisciplinary ethos at UEA, and the world-leading facilities the Norwich Research Park affords. These posts are available on an indefinite full-time basis from 1 February 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent qualification (or for Lecturer be nearing completion with award within one year of commencement) and be able to satisfy all other essential criteria for the role.
