Low Intensity Team Manager (North Somerset) PositiveStep
Full-time 37 hours Salary Range £29,156 - £31,857
The PositiveStep primary mental health care service in North Somerset is part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme(IAPT). The service aims to promote well-being and self-management skills to people with common mental health problems. PositiveStep is an alliance of Second Step, Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership(AWP)and ATOS and the post-holder will be employed by Second Step and work into the PositiveStep service.
We are currently looking for a low intensity (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner) clinician and manager to provide some clinical interventions and oversee the low intensity part of our Psychological Therapies service in North Somerset.
As Team Manager you will be passionate about the delivery of recovery-based primary mental health services, and knowledgeable about the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme. You will have the vision and leadership to develop and manage a low intensity service.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day leadership and management of Positive Step’s low intensity service, will provide line management and some clinical supervision to staff, and will deliver approximately two days clinical interventions within the service.
You will have proven experience in providing clinical interventions for patients at low intensity level, will have staff management experience and the ability to monitor services and contribute to the development of policy and procedures.
