We have an exciting opportunity for a number of Clinical / Counselling Psychologists to join the team at Advanced Childcare. These will be based in the main geographical areas of Northwest, Northeast, Hereford and Worcestershire, East Anglia and the Midlands. The Advanced Childcare Clinical Team is a newly developed innovative service aimed at providing holistic therapeutic care to Looked After Children. As part of the Clinical Team, your role will include assessment and intervention with children and young people in Advanced Childcare settings including Residential and Foster Care settings. In addition, a significant proportion of the role will be professional consultation to residential staff around the care needs of the young person and the development and delivery of bespoke training packages focussed on the needs of the young people. You should have experience and interest in working with complex Looked After Children. You must have good consultation skills.
