Do you have strong management and communication skills, and experience of service delivery, commissioning and contract management? Are you interested in a new challenge, developing and expanding clinical services for adults and young people? GamCare, the leading national charity running advice and treatment services for anyone affected by gambling, is looking for a Clinical Services Director. As well as the national telephone/online helplines and peer-to-peer online support, we deliver free face-to-face and online counselling throughout Great Britain. We are also leaders in developing prevention and education programmes. We have recently secured three year funding, providing a 30% increase to over £3.5 million by 2015, which means we are able to plan significant service expansion. The Clinical Services Director plays a crucial role within the organisation, ensuring high standards of clinical governance, service delivery and staff management. You’ll be joining an organisation with a reputation already well established, nationally and internationally. We’ll expect you to safeguard that reputation and enhance it amongst professional and academic audiences and the public, through robust evaluation, professional development, representation and outreach. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be part of the charity’s Senior Management Team, comprising three Directors and the Chief Executive, and so able to play your part in developing the charity’s strategy.
