| Description: | Ref: 2725 The Early Help Service is committed to improving life chances. This is a chance to apply your excellent team working, organisational and problem solving skills and knowledge of educational psychology to deliver excellence for children and families. The role You’ll provide line management, casework supervision and advice to a multi-disciplinary group of practitioners including educational psychologists, contribute to the planning of targeted early intervention services and ensure they are delivered to the highest standards. You’ll also work closely with around 25 schools and settings to ensure programmes for children and families have the maximum impact, implement, monitor and review the single access pathway to services and develop mechanisms for monitoring case progressions. The requirement You will hold a UK recognised Educational Psychology qualification , be registered with the Health Professions Council and be eligible for chartered status with the British Psychological Society. Your qualifications will be complemented by excellent prioritising and planning skills and a proven track record as a practitioner of educational psychology in a local authority setting. You’ll also share our commitment to integrated working, delivering family-focused services and constant improvement. The ability to challenge young people and families in a respectful way and balance an unpredictable workload will be vital.
