| Description: | Responsible To: Director of Care Hours of Work: 3 – 5 days per week by negotiation Location: Gloucestershire Deadline for Applications: Friday 20th July 2012 Interview Date: Tuesday 31st July 2012 Marlowe Child & Family Services provide a range of specialist residential services for Looked After Children and Young People. The young people present with a variety of challenges requiring a flexible approach within a strong non-aversive, low arousal philosophy. We currently require two Assistant Psychologists to fill vacancies in the Gloucestershire area. The successful candidates will be required to work independently, and must be willing to travel. Applicants must have a BPS accredited degree in Psychology, and considerable post-qualifying experience in a care environment. An M.Sc. will be considered advantageous. In particular (for one post) we require a candidate with experience/interest in forensic work, to work with sexually harmful behaviours. Regular supervision will be provided by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. In return we offer childcare subsidy, loyalty bonus at 3 years+ and contributory pension scheme.
