| Description: | School of Education Ref: HUM-01246 The School of Education is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Lecturer to work on its highly rated Doctorate in Counselling Psychology programme. This individual will complement an existing team and provide a significant contribution to the day-to-day delivery and future strategic development of the programme. In particular, this will involve providing professional input around counselling psychology theory, practice and research. Experience of supervising students through to successful completion of their doctoral research studies is essential, as is registration with the Health Professions Council as a Counselling Psychologist. It is anticipated that the person appointed will have the experience and expertise to take a leading role for one year of the three year programme. Additionally, the appointed person must have the potential to develop their own research interests in line with the programme strategy and the willingness to contribute to both national and international dialogues and debates about these areas.
