| Description: | Leading South Australian University Our Client offers programs in psychology at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate level, including professional training programs in clinical psychology and work & organisation psychology. The School also has a major research centre, with researchers of international regard possessing a strong track record in ARC funded projects in the area of work & organisational psychology and forensic psychology. Hosting a number of other active research areas, including indigenous psychology, conservation psychology, sleep and applied cognition, the School also has excellent links with industry, community and professional bodies. The position reports to the Pro Vice Chancellor, via the Head of School, and you will provide leadership in the psychology profession and foster excellence in research activities and teaching, both in the School and wider community. Other core responsibilities include an active contribution to teaching and learning, a high profile involvement in academic governance and administration, as well as actively collaborating with key stakeholders. To be considered for this role, it is essential that you possess the following: You will also have an ability to facilitate strong industry networks and information sharing and lead innovative scholarship and research. It would be highly desirable if you were able to demonstrate capability in the education of clinical supervisors and previous experience in the development of postgraduate clinical psychology teaching programs.
