We provide a comprehensive service within the community or, if appropriate, in Wishaw General Hospital. Configuration of the post is flexible and would include sessions to Primary Care with the option of some Psychiatry sessions. We are proud of our supervision/mentoring system designed to offer additional support to newly-qualified clinicians and also of our robust CPD provision, both internal and external, with guaranteed annual funding. In addition, we are happy to offer support for supervisory training, leading to required competencies for Band 8a. We anticipate that you will show initiative, a potential for creativity and a capacity for independent working. You will hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent). You must have HPC registration or be in the process of obtaining HPC registration. Experience in multidisciplinary team working, supervision and training all advantageous. Travel will be required.
