| Description: | WEST GLASGOW COMMUNITY HEALTH CARE PARTNERSHIP Band 8a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist £37,996 - £45,596 Ref: 20311P 37.5hrs, Arndale Resource Centre You will join our team of psychologists working within West Glasgow Community Health Care Partnership. We are fully integrated into the Community Mental Health Teams and the wider Mental Health Network, including the Primary Care Mental Health Team. There are also opportunities to work with other primary care colleagues within West Glasgow CHCP to improve access to psychological therapies and approaches. There is also a newly established post within Rehabilitation, and there will be opportunities for working in in-patient settings. We are fully involved in the improving access to psychological therapies agenda and working with the wider services to achieve other mental health HEAT targets. We have good links with the University of Glasgow D.ClinPsych training Scheme and the M.S.c in Psychological Therapies at Stirling, taking trainees from both courses. There are also excellent CPD opportunities within the supportive service. Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HPC, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology is essential. Further post-doctoral training, research and study across a range of areas including advanced registration with the HPC are also required. Experience of working in integrated ways with multi-disciplinary teams is also required.
